History: While they may have met whilst attending Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, it wasn’t until years later that Michelle Wenke and Megan George dreamed up the idea for Monrow. After graduating, Michelle worked as a stylist with names such as Sarah Jessica Parker, while Megan released her own line, George, which was later sold to Fred Segal. Now, over a decade after they first conceptualised the idea for Monrow over fabric samples spread across Michelle’s kitchen table, the pair continue to develop pieces that stay true to their original concept; creating timeless, quality clothing. Each woman brings her own set of skills to the table, Megan with her eye for classic design and exceptional choice in fabrication, and Michelle with her ability to envision styles and themes for each collection.
