When Illana was living an active, wellness-focused lifestyle in sunny LA that she realised how hard it was to find workout wear that balanced style, fit and function perfectly.

    That’s when she realised her experience as a swimwear designer, passion for healthy living and understanding of the female body could lead to something beautiful - something that integrated completely into a woman's lifestyle.

    Soon, she’d designed a line filled with feminine silhouettes, edgy day-to-night pieces and luxe athleisure wear made from high-performance technical fabric under the brand name Koral Activewear, which made its official debut in 2014.

    We have a crush on LA-based Koral Activewear. It started with their chic day-to-night Lustrous Leggings and spun out of control from there. Koral Activewear interprets Kugel's Brazilian roots with urban sophistication, never compromising on performance. The brand's modern tailoring, shiny details and first-class fabrics give a nod to Kugel's design background in the swimwear industry.
